This case study highlights how I replaced a high-friction, tribal-knowledge freight-matching workflow with a data-driven scoring model built around performance, cost alignment, strategic fit, and negative signals. The system’s redesign cut load-coverage time from 15 minutes to near-instant and created more reliable, scalable carrier selection. It also enabled the carrier team to focus on relationship building instead of administrative churn.
